What We Believe
Faith is not limited to Christianity. Everyone believes in something, ascends to truth(s), and is loyal to something. The difference, however, is in what you believe and in what you place your faith. Whereas other faiths profess belief in a truth, we profess belief in the Truth, revealed in Jesus Christ, who said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life."
We adhere to the three ecumenical statements of faith as professed by most Christian churches. They are the Apostles' Creed, Nicene Creed, and Athanasian Creed. These were written long before the Church divided into various branches.
We also adhere to the three statements of faith developed in the 16th and 17th centuries that are distinctly Reformed or Protestant confessions:
Belgic Confession
Canons of Dordt
Heidelberg Catechism
