                          Why Worship?

Worship is important because all of life is to be worship.  All of life is to be lived for the glory and praise of the Triune God.  This is why it is important for worship to be both private and public.  Private, personal, or home worship is good and commendable.  At the same time, worship is also a public activity.  In the Ten Commandments God commands us to remember the Sabbath and keep it holy, which is a command to gather as God's people to worship Him.  In the New Testament, the pastor to the Hebrews encourages the church to not neglect meeting for public worship.
